Sherman Columbus Lay

REV. SHERMAN C. LAY, SR. Age 100 of West Palm Beach, FL passed away Aug. 31, 2007. He was a long time resident of W. Palm Bch., a devoted Baptist minister and founder of Crossroads Baptist Church, W. Palm Bch. and owner of Lay?s Plant Nursery on 45th St. He was predeceased by one son Sherman C. Lay, Jr. Rev. Lay is survived by son Keith Lay (Tracey); three stepchildren, Wesley Johnson (Jane), Ricky Russell, and Susan Fitz (David); four daughters Clara Davis, Betty Wilson, Shirley Sharbutt and Pat Noyes (Ralph); daughter-in-law, Genell Lay; twenty-six grandchildren and numerous great and great, great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007 from 10-11 A.M. with a funeral service at ll A.M. at the Funeral Home In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to Northwood Baptist Church, W.
