Sharon Anne Kawecki

Sharon Anne Kawecki, 78, of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2025. Born in Sylvan Beach, New York, on December 11, 1947, to William and Ruth (Clark) Wilson, Sharon was the youngest of seven children. On September 3, 1966, she married the love of her life, Ronald Robert Kawecki, with whom she shared 50 wonderful years until his passing in 2017.

In 1968, Sharon and Ron moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where they raised their family in Mt. Lebanon. Sharon devoted 15 years to being a loving homemaker before returning to the workforce at the University of Pittsburgh, where she retired as Administrative Assistant to the Dean in the School of Medicine.

In retirement, Sharon and Ron shared a passion for travel and visiting lighthouses. Her greatest joy, however, was her family—her children and grandchildren were the center of her world. In 2001, Sharon and Ron relocated to Lake Worth, Florida, where they continued to enjoy life together.

Sharon is survived by her loving children: Stephanie Joanne (Mark) Eidemueller of Vero Beach, FL; Ronald Robert (Lisa) Kawecki II of Royal Palm Beach, FL; Richard David (Robin) Kawecki of Atlanta, GA; and Kimberly Lena (Douglas) Heeter of Bel Air, MD. She was the proud grandmother of six cherished grandchildren: Allison Grace Eidemueller, Andrew Conrad Eidemueller, John George Eidemueller III, Paige Elizabeth Heeter, Gabriella Lena Heeter, and Aubrey Judith Eidemueller. Sharon was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12:15 PM on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in memory of Sharon Anne Kawecki. Arrangements are under the direction of Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory.
