Shaneice Alisha Parks

Shaneice Alisha Parks, age 48, earned her wings on July 31, 2026, at home in Royal Palm Beach, Florida.

Born in Newport News, Virginia, Shaneice spent her formative years in New Jersey. She received her early education at Saint Mary’s Catholic School in Newark, NJ and went on to graduate from Science High School in Newark, NJ. Driven by a deep compassion for others, Shaneice pursued a career in healthcare, starting as a C.N.A. then a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Showing remarkable dedication and strength, she worked full-time while putting herself back through school to earn her Registered Nursing (RN) license at Keiser Career College in Miami Lakes, a testament to her untiring work ethic and devotion to her calling. Always striving to advance her ability to heal others, she was actively pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree at South University prior to her passing.

Throughout her distinguished career, Shaneice served her communities with skill and empathy in labor and delivery, critical care, hospice and the correctional nursing settings. Her professional path included vital roles at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL, Essex County Jail, Newark, New Jersey, Rahway Jail, Armor Correctional Health Services. She served with distinction as a Registered Nurse Case Manager at Trust Bridge, Hospice of Palm Beaches, providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients and families when they needed it most. Her last employment was as a dedicated travel nurse who traveled between Vermont and New Jersey.

Above all else, Shaneice lived her life in service to those around her. She was genuinely caring, endlessly selfless, and uniquely gifted with a straightforward, candid honesty that always came wrapped in love. She was a constant source of humor and strength for her loved ones. Outside of her cherished career, Shaneice loved nothing more than spending quality time with her family, lending a helping hand to anyone in need, especially her children and siblings. She enjoyed listening to music by her favorite artist, Prince, and watching wrestling with her son, Justin.

She is survived by her beloved children, Jordan and Justin, who were the pride and joy of her life; her loving parents, Sheryl and Vernon, and her father, Ricky; her devoted siblings, Naomi, Adam, Christian, Andre, Hunter, Shannon, and Danielle; her nieces, Paris, Eliana, Nilah, Reina, and Sariah, her nephews, Trent, Liam, Amiri, Jahmeil, Hunter, Jr and Issac; uncles, John, William (Bill), Chuck, her aunt Brenda, her God sister, LaChayla , and all her favorite cousins, other extended family members, colleagues, and friends whose lives were enriched by her warmth, smile and spirit.
