Servelio E. Pedraza

Servelio “Sam” Pedraza, 73, born on August 26, 1953 passed away March 13, 2026, after a prolonged illness.

Sam was born in a Santa Clara, Cuba, and immigrated to the United States at the age of 14. He was the only child of Servelio R. Pedraza and Maria Elena Pedraza-Fernandez, both deceased. He made his home in Belle Glade, Florida, where he built his life and he met his beloved wife, Maria Elena (Maria), and raised their family.

He is survived by his wife, Maria, his daughter Christina (Carlos) Rodriguez, his cherished granddaughters, Leah Nicole and Laci Elise Rodriguez, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his son, Eddy Pedraza.

Sam owned and operated his own exterminating business, proudly serving the Glades community since the 1980s. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, playing dominoes, and listening to Motown music. After retirement, Sam and Maria became enthusiastic world travelers, sharing many memorable adventures with friends and family.

Sam will always be remembered for his contagious laughter, upbeat spirit, and exuberant personality. His love of life and deep care for his family and friends will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
