Santiago Andres Ochoa-Castillo

Santiago Andres Ochoa Castillo, born in Newark, New Jersey on August 14, 1998, to Eugenio S. Ochoa and Alexandra K. Castillo, passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 24. Santy, like his friends used to call him, or Santiaguito like most of his family called him, was a great son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend. He was a very loving person, always willing to help, always thinking of business ideas, always finding ways to make everyone laugh, and always encouraging people to be better, to get better. There are so many great things we could keep saying about him that could write a book. Not only did he help people, but he also loved animals. His dog Kuper was like a baby to him, later on, he adopted Luna & Leo (two guinea pigs) and Ryker (bunny) whom he loved very much. He was very smart, always learning new things. He knew he could do anything he set his mind to. He wanted to learn Mandarin and understood and spoke Portuguese, English, and of course Spanish. Learned carpentry from working with his dad, knew the importance of a clean environment thanks to his mom, and had an inclination to mechanics, finances and wanted to be a paramedic too. Santy is survived by his parents, Eugenio Santiago and Alexandra Katerine; his grandmother, Mariela; his brother, Byron; his sisters, Kamyla and Valentina, his nephew, Sebastian; his aunt, Maria Alexandra; his uncles, Juan Pablo, and Juan Carlos; his cousins, Juan Fernando, Pablo Daniel, Anita Gabriela and Lucas Estefano. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A celebration of his life will be held in an intimate event with his loved ones. Friends and Family are invited to attend a funeral service mass, on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Saint Rita Church in Wellington FL, 33414.
