In Loving Memory of Santiago Salvador Lopez Garcia

With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of our precious baby boy , Santiago Salvador Lopez Garcia, lovingly known as Santi, who passed peacefully in the arms of his parents and was met with the peaceful arms of Jesus Christ on July 28, 2026.

Santi was born at Bethesda Hospital on March 3rd ,2025 and from the very beginning, filled every room with happiness. He had the brightest smile, the sweetest laugh, and a playful, silly personality that brought joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he shared will remain in our hearts forever.

Santi loved life’s simple joys. You could always make him happy with Cheeto Puffs or Birthday Cake Drizzilicious rice cakes. He loved watching Mickey Mouse and Spider-Man and Plim Plim and his eyes would light up whenever he saw them. He loved to laugh, play, and spend time with his favorite people, his tias and tios, who were also his best friends.

He was cherished beyond measure by his wuelos and wuelas, who surrounded him with unconditional love every day. Santi was truly his mama and papa’s spoiled baby, and they treasured every smile, every hug, every milestone, and every precious moment they were blessed to share with him. The love between Santi and his parents was immeasurable, and he returned that love with every giggle, cuddle, and kiss.

Above all, Santi was the sweetest soul. His gentle heart, joyful spirit, and unconditional love touched every life he encountered. Though words cannot express the depth of our loss, we find comfort in knowing that his beautiful spirit will remain with us forever.

Santi loved the Padre Nuestro prayer, and we hold close the comfort and hope found in those sacred words:

“Padre nuestro que estás en el cielo, santificado sea tu Nombre venga a nosotros tu reino hágase tu voluntad en la tierra como en el cielo. Danos hoy nuestro pan de cada día perdona nuestras ofensas, como también nosotros perdonamos a los que nos ofenden no nos dejes caer en la tentación, y líbranos del mal. Amén.”

Our beloved Santi will forever be remembered for his contagious smile, his joyful laughter, and the immense love he gave in his short but beautiful life. Though our hearts are broken, we are forever grateful for the gift of being his family.
