Sang Dai, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, peacefully passed away at the age of 97, surrounded by his loving family at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born October 18th, 1926 in Hong Kong, China. Sang dedicated his long and fulfilling life to the values he held dear: family, love, kindness and faith. Sang was a devoted husband of Kun Tai, and together they built a life full of love and shared experiences. Their union was blessed with six children Yuk Fong, Wai Kong, Bruce, Eva, Louis and Charles—who meant the world to Sang. Family was the cornerstone of his existence, and he found immense joy in fostering close bonds with his loved ones. Sang's childhood experiences, where familial ties were distant, fueled his determination to create a strong, united family of his own. One of Sang's greatest pleasures in life was traveling with his family. Whether exploring new destinations on cruises or enjoying a family meal together, Sang cherished every moment spent in the company of his wife, children, and grandchildren. His warm smile and open heart created an atmosphere of love and togetherness that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of being part of his life. Beyond his commitment to family, Sang found joy in music, dancing, laughter and mahjong with his friends. He was a person who radiated generosity wherever he went, always willing to lend a helping hand or share a moment of joy and never expecting anything back in return. Sang's kindness left an indelible mark on the lives of those he encountered, and his legacy of compassion will continue to inspire through all his grandchildren Wai Lun, Timmy, Andrew, Corey, Daniel, Kevin, Jenny, Renee, Chanel, Jordan, Yan yang, Jin yang and great grandchild Landon. The expansion of family was his proudest life achievement. A man of deep faith, Sang embraced Christianity from an early age. He was baptized by the Salvation Army as a child and held a profound love for Jesus. This faith provided him with strength and purpose throughout his life, guiding him in his journey of love and service to others. As Sang bids farewell to this world, his parting wish is for his family to stay close and continue the tradition of love and unity that he so ardently cultivated. In honoring his memory, may we remember the lessons of kindness, family, and faith that Sang exemplified throughout his remarkable life. Sang Dai's legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his spirit will forever be present in the laughter, love, and togetherness of the family he so dearly cherished. May he rest in eternal peace.
