July 29, 1954 — November 21, 2013

Formerly of Utica, NY Leaves behind his beloved for 40 years, Pamela Evans and his devoted brother, Michael DePalma of Rome, NY Parents - Salvatore and Maria DePalma (deceased) World-wide renowned Sonny DePalma was a Kustom Kulture Artist extraordinaire, airbrush artist, clay sculpture artist, model builder, designer of tattoo art and business cards, creator and visionary. He never failed to help other artists who asked for advice or tips. His unselfishness was overwhelming to the point that artists from all over the world would contact him and he would take the time to answer any and every request. Always quick-witted with a great sense of humor, loving personality and was extremely loyal, humble and down-to-earth. Big Daddy Ed Roth was a long-time friend and mentor. Another great friend was Norm Grabowski, as well as many other Kustom Kulture Artists, too many to mention, that knew him and admired his works. His starting influence was his big brother, Mike, who together with Sonny at Village Custom, helped start his interest in the Kustom Kulture field of hot rods, custom cars and bikes. The love of his life and soul mate, Pam, was with him from the beginning and was his rock, even moving from their hometown to Florida to be with him and share his life and dreams. He will be greatly missed. His artwork will live on forever.
