A bright light was lost, Ryan David Miskura, 41, of Wellington, Florida unexpectedly passed away on November 24, 2023. Ryan was a loving husband to Heather Miskura, a loving father to Colton Miskura, a loving son to Deborah and Philip Kurtgis, a loving brother to Christopher Miskura, and a dear friend to all who knew him. If you knew Ryan you know he never knew a stranger and was the life of the party. Ryan was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and spent his childhood years growing up in Sunrise, Florida. He spent much of his childhood playing baseball for the city league in Plantation and Sunrise, Florida. At an early age Ryan's love for the outdoors developed as a Boy Scout he learned to camp and fish. As he grew older he expanded his outdoors skills in boating and hunting. He spent alot of time on the St Johns River at his parents lake house in Astor, Florida. He attended and graduated from Piper High School where he played baseball. In his early adult years he was quite the entrepreneur with his business partner building custom poker tables and managing a travel poker business. He developed many friendships and shared in his love for the game of poker. Ryan relocated to Loxahatchee, Florida in 2014 where he reconnected in his faith and was a volunteer at Community of Hope. Ryan enjoyed spending his time with the youth group, building lasting relationships through fellowship, and being the handyman he was on the church grounds. He later went on to be a project manager for Blink Construction in underground utilities, where he spent his career over the last 9 years with his work family. Ryan met Heather shortly after relocating while being a wingman to his sister in law at a painting event. After a stroll through Back to Bethlehem at Community of Hope and a dinner date they wed in 2017. Ryan was an avid football fan and would often spend his weekends with his wife and family cheering on the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday and the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Ryan had a wide variety of taste in music but he began taking a strong liking to country music when he met his wife. They would spend their free time traveling to football games or country music concerts across the country while exploring new cities. Ryan's passion for cooking was established at a young age sitting on the counter with his grandparents learning the family recipes. He carried this with him and was known for his cooking skills. He would often be the grill master at all family holidays, events, and meals. He cooked the best steak around and could out chef any restaurant. Ryan was always sharing his new ways to cook and always kept those long standing family recipes close by. Ryan was proud to be an American and was very patriotic. He was an avid sportsman and loved practicing at nearby shooting ranges with his father, brothers, and friends. He always wanted to share his history and knowledge of the sport with those around him. In the past few years, he took to gator hunting and learned the hunting techniques from his close friends Sam and Adam in the STAs. In 2020, Ryan and Heather welcomed a beautiful baby boy, Colton. Ryan was in love with being a dad to mini Ryan as many would call him. Some of our favorite times were spent riding on the golf cart, playing at the playground, swimming at the pool, and cheering on the Hurricanes at the football games. Ryan's charismatic smile and zest for life will be held with us forever, we are deeply saddened by this unimaginable loss of him no longer here with us but find peace in knowing he is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven. We love you and miss you, forever and always. Ryan is survived by his wife, Heather Miskura and son, Colton Miskura; his mother Deborah Kurtgis of Plantantion, FL; his brother Christopher M.
