Ruth Ann (Janocha) Gendreau

Ruth Ann (Janocha) Gendreau of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026 at HCA Palms West Hospital, Loxahatchee, FL surrounded by family. She was born August 31, 1953 at St John’s Hospital in Lowell, MA. and was the beloved daughter of the late Felix Janocha and Gertrude (Higgins) Janocha. 

Ruthie was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed watching them at her favorite Tiki Bar. 

Ruthie enjoyed her time working as a Customer Service Representative, affectionately known to all as “The Home” at The Home Depot. Her previous employment in MA was with Republic Services for over 20 years of service and prior to that she was employed at Memotec, North Andover, MA  where she was also a long time employee.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Raymond B Gendreau. She was the proud Stepmother to Cheryl Gendreau of Royal Palm Beach, FL and Thomas Gendreau and his wife Robin of West Pam Beach, FL. She was a proud Nana to Kyle and Connor Gendreau. Her twin sister, Catherine Ann (Katie) St Ours of Tulsa, Oklahoma and sister Mary (Janocha, Terry) and her husband George Provencal of Groveland, MA. along with her sister-in-laws, Anne and Shirley and brother in law, George, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Ruthie was predeceased by her loving parents Felix and Gertrude (Higgins) Janocha, Brothers Felix William (Sonny) and Thomas Charles (Butch) Janocha. 

Family and friends are invited to honor and Celebrate Ruthie’s life, Saturday, May 30, 2026 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Palms West Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 100 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Ruth Ann’s memory may be made to American Cancer Society or Disabled American Veterans.
