Russell Lloyd Anderson

Doctor Russell L. Anderson, Jr. of Royal Palm Beach passed away peacefully at his home on October 14, 2020. Born in 1928, Russ grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. Doctor Anderson was an Orthopedic Surgeon in various states and was a volunteer and member of the Palm Beach County Medical Society. He had a love for music and told many fascinating stories. A parishioner at Saint Rita Catholic Church, he had been a member of several church ministries; including Music and the PGN, Past District Deputy of the Knights of Columbus, just name a few. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary; his children Rosalyn and Russell III and their respective families; Grandsons Jason and Jeremy; and his sisters Dorothy Brickler and Dolores Farr. We will miss Doctor Anderson, but know that he will live on in our hearts and memories forever. Due to COVID-19 circumstances, a Memorial Mass at Saint Rita Catholic Church, Wellington, will be planned at a future date.
