Ruby Rosa Zita Zuniga

Ruby Rosa Zuniga was born on March 13th, 1971 Lubao, Pampanga, Philippines. She is the sixth of seven children of Ruben Cordova Zuniga Sr and Inocencia Zita Zuniga both deceased. Ruby attended Lubao Central Elementary School, then Sacred Heart Academy "All girls "High School in 1988. She went on to study Nursing at University of the Assumption where she received her bachelor's degree in nursing. She volunteered as a nurse in the hospital there after passing her board exam. She left the Philippines on August 25th, 1995 to work at West Chicago Hospital, then moved to Pahokee where she worked at Glades Healthcare nursing home and Glades Hospital. In 2005 she moved to West Palm Beach to work at Tandem healthcare, Renaissance, Wellington Regional Medical Center and in 2011 , she joined Hospice of Palm Beach County until October 2022 when she was obligated to resign due to her health conditions. She was diagnosed with endometrial cancer in January 2020, then breast cancer in October 2022. She did everything she was asked to: chemotherapy, immunotherapy. But unfortunately, on July 3rd, 2025, she succumbed from the complications of cancer at 09:13 AM.
