In Loving Memory of Ross Dudley Mills August 17, 1965 – August 10, 2025 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ross Dudley Mills who left us peacefully on August 10, 2025, just one week shy of his 60th birthday. A devoted husband, proud father, and cherished friend, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and genuine connection. He is survived by his loving wife, Avril, his two sons, Austin (Emily) and Bradford (Tawny), his daughter, Lucinda, granddaughter, Summer, Sisters, Lizette and Babette (Bill), brother, Bradford (Carol), as well as many more, all of whom brought immense pride and joy to his life. Ross Dudley Mills was known for his easygoing nature, ever-ready smile, and unmatched ability to make anyone feel welcome. Whether he was out walking the dogs — something he did with quiet joy — or simply striking up a conversation, he had a gift for making people feel heard and valued. His door was always open, and his heart even more so. There was rarely a moment he wasn't in good spirits. No matter the day, no matter the weather, he greeted you with warmth, humor, and genuine interest. He never met a stranger — only friends he hadn't talked to yet. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. In honoring his life, we carry forward the example he set: to be kind, present, and always ready for a good walk or a heartfelt conversation. A celebration of his life will be held on August 14th, 2025 at Palms West Funeral Home where stories, laughter, and love will be shared in his memory. All who knew and loved him are welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation (Give.epilepsy.com) Rest easy, Ross. You were one of the good ones.
