Rosemary Ratty

Rosemary Ratty - May 8, 2022 "Our Sweet Rose" Born on December 31, 1929 in New York, NY to the late Arthur and Rose Iosue. Early on Rose worked as an assistant supervisor at American Express in Manhattan. Rose married the love of her life, Walter Thomas Ratty, Jr. on March 7, 1953. They soon had 5 children. Rose and her family moved from Staten Island, NY to south Florida where she resided for 53 years. Rose is survived by her brother Arthur Iosue; daughter Susan J. Livingston, son Walter T. Ratty, III, son Gregg A. Ratty (Janet), daughter Dori L. Hardy (Jimmy), daughter Jill R. Faver. Rose is predeceased by her husband Walter T. Ratty, Jr., and sisters, Florence Torcivia and Ann Iosue. Rose's life was dedicated to caring for her large family, including many hours in her favorite place, the kitchen. She cooked countless meals for whomever was at the dinner table. She was the life of the party and LOVED to dance. Rose has touched the lives of so many during her journey and endeared herself to her 5 children, 11 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends visitation will take place on June 10th at 1:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm, at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach FL. A cemetery service will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
