Rosemarie Silinskie Mantione October 11, 1937 to November 6, 2024 Obituary Rosemarie Silinskie Mantione, 87, of West Palm Beach, Florida, has entered eternal rest on November 6, 2024, passing peacefully in her sleep. Born a coal miner's daughter, in Pittston, Pennsylvania, on October 11, 1937, she was raised during the Great Depression in Inkerman Hollow, by the late Joseph and Helen Shafer Silinskie and was one of four children. In addition to her parents, Rosemarie was preceded in death by brother, Richard Silinskie and wife, Madeline; brother, Joseph Silinskie; sister, Helene Silinskie Talerico and husband, Eugene. Surviving are her son, Joseph James Mantione and wife, Donna Maria Laffey Mantione, granddaughter, Madonna Cristina Mantione, of Laflin, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Ann Marie Vitek Silinskie, Inkerman, Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosemarie was a graduate of Jenkins High School and became a successful business woman; owning and operating many garment manufacturing businesses, producing special occasion dresses and wedding gowns, employing hundreds of women and men, in Northeastern Pennsylvania, for over 37 years. Upon retirement, Rosemarie relocated to Southeastern Florida where she was a resident for 30 years. She also maintained a home in Pennsylvania where she came to visit family and friends during the summer months. She traveled the world and ultimately settled in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she lived her final years close to her son and daughter-in-law. She was a past member of St. Joseph Marello Parish, Pittston, Pennsylvania and attended St. Edward Catholic Church, in Palm Beach, Florida. Rosemarie will always be remembered for her adventurous spirit, keen business acumen and fashion-forward style. She will be missed and will live forever in our hearts. Honoring Rosemarie's final wishes, funeral services were privately held in West Palm Beach, Florida.
