Rosario Salvatore Raimondi Jr. known as "Sal Raimondi" 67 of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida died early Sunday morning April 11, 2021. Sal was born to Rosario Salvatore Raimondi and Eugenia Loretta Abbracciamento in Brooklyn, NY 1954. Sal grew up and received his education in NY. He was an alumnus of John Adams high school, 1970. In his early life he married his first wife Lisette. They had three children Salvatore, Elizabeth and Santino. He owned and operated a tow truck service and garage on Berriman Street in Brooklyn, on the same block that the Abbraciamento side of the family had immigrated in the early 1900's. In 1986, Sal married his second wife Ann. They had three children Nicole, Frank and Andrew. In 1987, Sal left New York and relocated to Palm Beach, Florida. He then opened his marquee business "The Model Garage". In 1992 during an attempted robbery, Sal, acting on instinct defended himself and saved the lives of everyone present that day. In his later years he became an automobile accident investigator and expert witness. He enjoyed collecting antiques. He was a savant in the Smith and Wesson community. His accumulation of knowledge in this field was matched by few. Sal passed away in his sleep at home after a hard fought battle with heart disease. He was predeceased by his brother John and best friend Francis Saladino. He leaves behind six children, two grandchildren Antonio and Courtney and one great grandson Roman. He is survived by his oldest brother Antonio and his greatest friends and supporters Nicolas Blanda, Paul Havis, Neil Stegall and Dominick Faraci.
