Rosa Olinda Mora de Miranda, age 89, passed away peacefully September 27, 2020 due to long time health problems and Alzheimer's disease. She was born August 5, 1931 in Callao, Peru. At 20 years old she married the love of her life, Walter J. Miranda Espejo, in February 17, 1952 who preceded her in death in 1989. Olinda as we all call her was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. But she especially loved her role as Mamama, her priority was to care for and love all her grandchildren. She had a vivacious personality, strong character and always made people feel good, and always helped others. Between her love for arts, painting, sculpture, fashion, crafts and her unlimited love to our Lord her days were always around people. Her faith and willing to guide everybody to follow God took her to help kids of all ages to receive their First Communion, Confirmation, and Couples seeking marriage, all in the name of God. Olinda is survived by her children Walter(Lily), Olinda (Marcos), Alicia, Elsa (Lucho); grandchildren, Lilia (Osvaldo), Walter (Claudia), Marcos, Jose-Manuel (Claudia), Guillermo (Viviana), Luis, Pedro, Lou, Jorge (Maureen), Wally and great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Giangelo, Gisella, Julietta, Michaela, Gaby, Zoe and Ava; plus many nephews and nieces. All of us love her and will miss her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Alzheirmer's Disease Research. https://support.brightfocus.org
