Ronald D. Watkins

Ronald D. Watkins passed away on October 22, 2016 at his home in Loxhatchee, Florida. He was surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was born on December 12, 1934 to Rosie and Leland Watkins in Winterfield Township, Clare County, Michigan. He graduated from Marion High School in 1952. Ron completed an apprenticeship at Chrysler Corporation in Detroit. He then worked for General Motors for 27 years retiring as a Supervisor. He married Patricia Case on June 3, 1952. He is survived by his wife of 64 years and 4 children. Ronna (Tom) Denker , Renee (Claude) (High), Randy (Carmen) Watkins and Rosalie Watkins. Sister Ruth (Don) WIng in Mancelona, Michigan and brother RIck Watkins (Pam) in Lake CIty, MIchigan. 10 Grand children, 21 Great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Sister in law Sandra WIlson of Marion, Janet (Dennis) Blevins of Midland and Brother in law Calvin (Pat) Case of Athens, Georgia. Special friends Nancy and Sandy Molenda. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond. There will be a memorial service at a later date in Michigan.
