Ronald W. Myers

Ron Myers was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and uncle who touched many lives. Ron passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, February 9, 2012. Ron is survived by his wife Madeline, daughter Suzanne Welton (husband Steve), sons Ron, Jimmy, and Charlie Myers, grandchildren, Connor Myers, Ella and Molly Welton, sister Jean Benzing, nieces, Pam Benzing, Aimee Connell, Erin McKinzie, and nephew Robert Benzing. He is preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Ehrman. Many people in the Wellington Community will remember Ron not only as a devoted family man but also a coach with a passion for baseball. He loved the game and served the community as an umpire for over 20 years. To honor Ron's love of children and athletics, donations may be made to the YMCA of the Palm Beaches at 2085 South Congress Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33406. A memorial mass will be held at St. Rita's Catholic Church, 13645 Paddock Drive, Wellington, FL on February 16, 2012 at 3:00 pm. Following the mass, family and friends will gather at the Myers Residence.
