Our beloved father Ronald Milone (aka Pop) went home to Jesus, Mary, and the Saints and Angels on November 28, 2021 at age 82. Ronald was born to Janet and Dominick Milone on January 29, 1939 in Oceanside N.Y. As a child, Ronald loved spending time with family and friends, watching movies, and playing outside in his Baldwin N.Y. neighborhood. Ronald met his wife, Patricia in High School. Their first date was set up by my mother's best friend Anita. They married in 1961 and went on to have three children, Doreen, Ronnie, and Keith, six grandchildren, Alex, Johnny, Jessica, Billy, Michael, and Chris, and five great-grandchildren, Kaylie, Elijah, Layla, Valerie, and Christopher. In addition to being a dedicated and loving father and family man, Pop also loved his friends. People were the most important thing in his life. Each evening when his children would call him, the first thing he would talk about is who he saw and spoke to that day. His family is so grateful for his many wonderful friends and caregivers. In 1964 Ronald and his father Dominick began a family business. The two, along with other relatives ran "Dominick Milone and Son" for over 40 years. Throughout his entire life, Pop held an unwavering faith in God, and was a devout Catholic. He shared his faith with those who surrounded him. Pop joins his wife, Patricia, his parents Janet and Dominick, his grandson Christopher, and his many close friends and family in Heaven. All of us who are still here on earth will do our best to carry on in the spirit of Pop's faithfulness, friendliness, and love. Revelation 21:23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp.
