Ronald Malebranche passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025. Known affectionately by many names—RoRo, TiRo, TiRon, RonRon, BonBon, Ado, Ronaldo, Papa, Parrain, Grandpa, and of course, Ronnie—he was a private man of few words, yet his steady presence, quiet wisdom, and deep appreciation for life's simple beauty left a lasting mark on all who knew him. Ronnie was a man of faith, intellect, and observation—someone who found meaning in the subtleties of life: in the patterns of a chess game, the cadence of jazz, Latin and opera, the geometry of architecture, and the ritual of preparing a thoughtful meal. He loved fútbol, sports, chess, fishing, sketching, hunting, photography, literature, philosophy, writing, architecture, gourmet cuisine, laughter, and spending time with family and friends. He cherished nature—finding solace in quiet walks, the hush of early mornings, and especially in visiting the park to feed the birds. Most of all, the blue jays seemed drawn to him—vivid, watchful creatures we now understand as symbols of clarity, curiosity, and spiritual resilience—qualities Ronnie embodied throughout his life. Their presence feels like a fitting echo of his own: protective, perceptive, and quietly powerful. A man of dignity and service, Ronnie gave without asking, led without insisting, and listened more than he spoke. His love was expressed through consistency, presence, and profound respect for those around him. He taught not through instruction, but by example—offering strength without recognition and honoring others with grace and humility. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, godfather, cousin, and loyal friend. He is survived by his wife, Marie Michele; his siblings and their spouses; his children; and a circle of family and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He will be remembered always for his unwavering faith, his quiet acts of service, and the gratitude with which he saw the world. Ronnie leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, enduring kindness, and an unshakable belief in living with humility and grace. His was not a life of grand declarations, but of deep truths—and those who loved him will forever be guided by the steady light he left behind. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions in Ronald's memory to St. Matthew Catholic Church. https://membership.faithdirect.net/FL662 Funeral Service: A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM EDT at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, located at 6090 Hypoluxo Road, Lake Worth, FL 33463.
