Ronald Robert Kawecki Sr, 75, of Lake Worth, FL passed away on August 21, 2017 surrounded by family after a short bout with cancer. The funeral service will be held on August 30, 2017 at 11am at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Rev. Peter Bartuska of Christ Community Church will be officiating. Following the service a luncheon will be held at the Lucerne Lakes Clubhouse South, 4400 Lucerne Lakes Boulevard Lake Worth, FL 33467. Visitation will be held on August 29, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Ronald was born in Nanticoke, PA on July 26,1942. He graduated from Stratford High School in Stratford, CT. Ronald was married to Sharon Anne (Wilson) on September 3,1966. They were married 50 years residing in Syracuse, NY, Mt. Lebanon, PA, and Lake Worth, FL. Ronald worked as a supervisor for Deluxe Checkprinters Inc. for over 29 years. He enjoyed being a baseball coach and a basketball referee for his children. During retirement he enjoyed traveling, visiting lighthouses, collecting movies, trying new restaurants, and gaming at the arcade. He relished spending time with his six grandchildren. Survived by wife, Sharon; daughter, Stephanie J. (Mark) Eidemueller of Hutchinson Island, FL; son, Ronald R. (Lisa) Kawecki II of Royal Palm beach, FL; son, Richard D. (Robin) Kawecki of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Kimberly L. (Douglas) Heeter of Bel Air, MD; brother, David S. (Barbara) Kawecki of Kernersville, NC; grandfather of Allison Eidemueller, Andrew Eidemueller, John Eidemueller, Paige Heeter, Gabriella Heeter and Aubrey Eidemueller; uncle to many cherished nieces and nephews. Ronald is preceded in death by father, Frank S. Kawecki; mother, Lena M. (Wermuth) Kawecki; siblings, Francis (Kanky) Kawecki, Marguerite (Tootsie) Tsutsis; Geraldine (Gerry) Simonitis, Marlene Kawecki, and Robert Kawecki.
