Beloved father and son, Rodney A. Becker, sadly passed away on the evening of Saturday October 28th, 2023. Rodney, affectionately known as Rod, was proud of his country upbringing, often fondly sharing stories of working his grandparents farm, fishing the Susquehanna river, and hunting with his family. Shortly after graduating from Lower Dauphin High School, he moved to South Florida, where he discovered a passion for food working in the kitchens of various restaurants. His passion for food never dissipated. He always took joy in cooking for and feeding his family and friends. Famous for his chicken wings, ribs, and Thanksgiving stuffing, there was always room at his table for you. Rodney had a wealth of knowledge for many things, one being all things mechanical. As an ASE certified master technician, he could diagnose your car's issue based on make, model, mileage, and the sound it made via phone call. His knowledge wasn't just limited to on-road vehicles. Rod enjoyed souping up go-karts, tearing apart and rebuilding lawn mowers, and tackling new challenges. His weekends were spent tending to his plants during the day, and playing his favorite video games with his youngest son all night. The embodiment of generosity, Rod often traded his culinary or mechanical services for a sixpack, making sure to remind you to call him if you needed anything. Rodney is survived by his pride and joy:- his three children:- Anthony M. Pedicelli, Alexa M. (Philip) Pedicelli Becker, and Mason R. Becker;- their mother, Cristina Pedicelli Becker; and his beloved pups, Patch and Buddy. He will be deeply missed by his family, including his three brothers:; Matthew Becker, Daniel (Patti) Becker, and Tim Buckley;- mother and step-father, Sandra (Tony) Pascucci;- his stepmother, Donna Becker;- and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family invites all those who knew and loved Rodney to join them at the family house in Loxahatchee on December 2nd at 1 PM. Rodney regularly donated to causes he truly believes in. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, to honor Rod's generosity, his family asks that you donate to a charity of your choice.
