Rodger Kennedy

Rodger Kennedy, 64, of Loxahatchee, Florida passed away on December 16, 2024 from complications from Pneumonia. Rodger was born on September 23, 1960, to B.T & Mary Kennedy in West Palm Beach, Florida. Rodger graduated from Twin Lake High school in 1978. He went on to become a Fire Fighter for the City of West Palm Beach where he worked for 28 years and retired as a Drivers Engineer. In 1982 Rodger met Patricia Taub his wife at Winn Dixie where he was shopping for the Fire Department and she was a Cashier. They married in 1985 where Patty brought her daughter Erika and went on to have 2 children together, Rodger Jr. and Morgan. During retirement Rodger spent his time planting and taking care of his many fruit trees and riding around the neighborhood on his golf cart. He is survived by his wife Patty Kennedy and children Erika Cotter, Rodger Kennedy Jr. and Morgan I. Torres, grandchildren Aliyah Torres, Emmanuel Torres Jr. and Jorden Torres along with his Mother Mary Kennedy and siblings Cherie Sanders, Karen Musson, Dru Kennedy, and Doug Kennedy. Services will be held at Palms West Funeral Home 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 on December 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM with a gathering beginning at 1:00 PM.
