Rocco Abate

On Sunday February 26th, 2017 Rocco Abate passed away at the age of 87. He is survived by his wife, Maria, his children Lillian, Joann, Dominic, and Mary, their spouses, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Rocco immigrated from Italy to Brooklyn, New York at the age of 17 with his parents and two sisters. He met the love of his life Maria after several years in America. Rocco and Maria were married and started a beautiful family. With hard work and determination, he became a successful businessman. He was known for his Diary products, especially his "Ricotta", which he manufactured and distributed to many retail stores in the Brooklyn/Ridgewood New York area. In 1999 Rocco and Maria left New York, to reside in Wellington, Florida. He was an amazing husband, father, father-in-law, and grandfather. Rocco is greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
