Robyn Barnette Hoffman, 52, passed suddenly of a heart condition on March 25. A native Floridian she was born at Good Samaritan Hospital, January 17, 1965. Robyn would begin making life-long friends at a very early age. At 2 years old, she brought home a new neighborhood girl. The two are still friends today. Making more new friends while playing softball through the middle school years, she maintained contact with many throughout the years. At John I Leonard High School, she actively participated in Tennis, Soccer, Cross Country and Track and winning 11 varsity letters which led to a Tennis scholarship to East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. Robyn pledged and became an AD Pi sister. Lifetime bonds were formed as Robyn invited many of the sisters to Florida on spring break, a tradition that went the entire four years of school. She graduated with a BA in marketing and then joined the family advertising agency business. When she learned of a valet company being available, she took the opportunity to launch a career of her own. She and her husband Robb have built Prestige Valet into the largest and most respected valet and parking company in Palm Beach County. Robyn is survived by her husband Robb, her son Tyler, mother and father Jim and Kathy Barnette and brother Jimmy (Peggy). There are many nieces and nephews, cousins and second cousins that have maintained a close family bond over the years. Memorial services will be held on Saturday April 8 at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 1003 Allendale Road in West Palm Beach at 11:00 a.m In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Holy Spirit.
