Roberta Marie Witschger

Roberta Marie Witschger of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on January 13, 2021. She was 89. Roberta was born in New York City, NY, and lived in Norfolk ,VA, Rhode Island, and Queens and Orange Counties in New York before relocating to West Palm Beach. This likely contributed to her love of traveling. She is survived by her loving husband, Charlie, and his sister, Virginia. Roberta and Charlie celebrated 70 years of marriage in September 2020. In addition, she leaves behind her 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Roberta was a true beauty with brilliant brown eyes, a radiant smile and a contagious laugh. It's easy to see why she caught Charlie's eyes so many years ago! She loved to sing and, though not always on-key, it was a joy to hear her break into song. Her magnetic personality animated many family gatherings. Roberta was a strong and clever business woman, largely self-taught. She managed a successful career in the music industry while simultaneously parenting children during a time when few women were allowed this opportunity. A woman of many interests, Roberta kept her mind sharp as a tack and well into her 80's by playing games and reading books. Roberta was a true matriarch, and she will be greatly missed.
