Robert Edwin Riker

Born April 16, 1933, to Emma and George Riker in Newark, New Jersey. Died March 14, 2023, in Jupiter, Florida. Beloved husband of Ruth (née Bauer). Devoted father of Rosalind Dombrowski, Roberta (Bryan) Romano, and Rhonda (Bobby) Munden. Bob is survived by his brothers James (Mary) Riker and Paul (Marguerite) Riker, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Sister Connie (Bill) Rogers, daughter Roberta, and great granddaughter Esther Romano predeceased him. Bob graduated from The Pingry School in Elizabeth, New Jersey and served in the United States Army Security Agency in Germany from March 1953 until February 1956. He retired from TRW in 1989 where he was a field engineer then worked as a college media technician at Ocean College in Toms River, New Jersey from 1990-2001. He was also a graduate of Ocean County College, receiving an associate degree in 1989. Bob and Ruth were residents of Brick, New Jersey from 1957-2021, recently relocating to Jupiter, Florida.
