Robert Joseph Regan, 86 years old of Wellington, FL passed away on March 21 surrounded by his family. He was born January 14, 1929 to John and Mary Regan of Lowell, Massachusetts. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean War, worked as a Union Electrician in Local 103 I.B.E.W for 35 years and was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Geraldine Ann (McDermott) Regan. His son, Robert Regan of Ithaca, N.Y. Daughter, Erin and her husband Mark Nelson of Ocean Ridge, FL. Daughter Keri Regan (de Castro) and Anthony Tacconelli of Wellington FL. His sister, Maureen Leo of Tyngsboro, Mass, son Philip and predeceased by two brothers James and John Regan. Four grandchildren, Mark Nelson, Melissa and her husband Marc Durrance, Kylee and McKenna de Castro. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, Madison and Malina Durrance and many nieces and nephews. As a young man he played CYO baseball for St. Margaret's church championship team, played Fenway Park and never lost his love for any kind of sports. He will be forever missed by family, the center of his life and greatest blessing. Mass will be held April 7 at 11:00AM St. Rita Church, Wellington FL. followed by a military salute at Palm Beach Veterans Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
