Robert Luther Reece

Robert (Bob) Luther Reece, 71, of Wellington, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007. Robert was the oldest son of Luther C. Reece & Ruth Ogle. Bob enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1952. He moved to South Florida in 1958 where he met his loving wife Shirley McTaggart with whom he had 2 sons. Bob worked for The Florida Division of Corrections in Belle Glade, Florida for 30 years and retired in 1984. Bob loved tennis and was an avid fisherman and took great pride in his grandchildren. Bob leaves behind his loving wife Shirley Yvonne Reece, 2 sons Keith (Debbi) Reece & Douglas (Katherine) Reece, 2 brothers Eddie (Claudette) Reece & William Reece, a sister Norma Mills, 2 Grandsons Corey & Brayden, several nieces & nephews, and his mother Ruth Reece. A visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, Florida on Monday, September 24, 2007 from 10:30am-11:30am, with a service held at the funeral home at 11:30am. The second visitation will be held at Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville, TN on Wednesday, September 26 from 5pm-7pm and a burial on Thursday at 10am at their family cemetery, Ogle Cemetery, in Gatlinberg, TN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made in Robert?s name to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
