Robert L. Reavy, Jr. 67, passed away on May 9, 2007 at his home in Wellington, FL after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the beloved husband of Carol Ann Reavy and they were married 50 years. Born in Malden, Mass. A son of the late Robert, Sr. and Beatrice(Garbarino) Reavy. He attended S.F.B. Morse Elementary School and from Poughkeepsie H.S. In 1957-1965 he worked as a restaurant steward at Nick Beni?s Anchor Inn and for the Freihofer?s Baking Co. in New Paltz, NY as a General Manager where he received the Freihofer?s Presidents Award in 1994 and retired after 31 years. After moving from Poughkeepsie, NY to Wellington, FL he became an avid golfer and a seasonal employee of Banyan Golf Course. He loved to be around family and friends, enjoyed music and sports (Boston Red Sox). Robert is survived by his devoted and loving wife Carol and their 5 children Cheryl Reavy (Atlanta, GA), Karen Wible(Wellington, FL), Scott Reavy(Loxahatchee, FL), Brian Reavy(Kingston, NY), and Robert J. Reavy(Massina, NY); sister Roberta Waldron(Springhill, FL); grandchildren, Megan and Kelly Wible, Scott and Brendon Reavy. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2007 from 6-8 pm at Palms West Funeral Home & Crematory in Royal Palm Beach, FL.
