With great sadness, the family of Robert Benjamin Norris announces his passing on February 11th, 2021. Robert was born on April 13th, 1970, to Robert Gale and Brenda Kay Norris, at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Iris Damary Perez Norris, married on May 16th, 1992, his two children, Robert Joseph and Julia Marie Norris, his mother Brenda Norris Abbott, step-father James Abbott Sr., sister, April Torres, brother, James and sister-in-law Joy Abbott, in addition to his nieces and nephews. His father, Robert Gale Norris, predeceased him. Robert attended Tennessee Temple University and graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University, receiving a bachelor's degree in church music focusing on guitar. He worked at Saturn Sound Studio, where he eventually became sole owner and operator. Robert strived for excellence in all that he did, which was evident in his audio and visual work and his intentional relationships with family, friends, and clients. His musical passion started early in life, stemming from his involvement in the band Blue Sky Saturday, where he composed and played music. He received numerous awards for achievements in his field, and his hearing was so developed that it seemed he could hear a pin drop from three blocks away. His love of war movies inspired him to be a producer for USS Seaviper, a feature film. He was a humble man that impacted the lives of many. He was dedicated to helping make the dreams of others a reality, including working with and mentoring young artists. He will be greatly missed.
