Robert J. Metzinger

Robert J. Metzinger, 85 years of age, passed away peacefully at home on November 7, 2015. Bob was a 21 year veteran of the Suffolk County Police Department in New York. After moving to Florida, Bob spent 7 years as a property manager for the Estee Lauder Estate then worked for the Village of Palm Beach Lakes organizing the COP programs. Roberts's memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Lucretia having just celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on October 15, 2015; children, Janet (Ralph) Allegrezza of Lincolntown, NC, Jim (Jo-Ann) Metzinger of Fairfield, CT, Donna (Mike) Stiff of Cresco, PA, and Diane (Ken) Eck of Windsor, VA; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Palm West Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Robert's memory to TrustBridge Hospice (Hospice of Palm Beach County), 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
