Robert "Bob" Malesk, 72, a Vietnam War Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient passed away peacefully on January 12, 2018. He is survived by his daughter, Mia Silberfine, daughter and son in law, Jennifer and William Sandman; granddaughters, Jordan Silberfine, Danielle Silberfine and Emily Sandman; two sisters and their husbands, Maureen and Mark Anapoell, Liz Isaacs and Fred Kenney as well as Robert's younger brother, Bruce Malesk. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Tina; his parents, Evelyn and David and son in law, Yale Silberfine. Robert was born in the Bronx, New York. He graduated from Valley Stream North High School and married his high school sweetheart, Tina. He served his country in the United States Army and was a successful entrepreneur as well as a meat cutter. Robert and Tina moved to Florida after their two daughters relocated. Robert was a friend to everyone and volunteered most of his time at the VA Medical Center. A funeral is scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2018 at 9:30am at the South Florida National Cemetery; 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
