Robert William Kirk Jr

Heaven gained a wonderful spirit and a lot of laughter when my beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to all passed away on 4/13/21. Proud to have been born in Pittsburgh in July of 1952 to Robert Sr and Alice Kirk. An army brat as a youngster, his family settled to Palm Springs in his teens. Bob graduated from Forest Hill High and had a career in drywall. He took great pride in his workmanship and owning Suncoast Interiors and Tropical Textures. He loved cooking, golf, music (awesome at trivia), Elvis! Dolphins, Marlins, Christmas and watching classic old movies. Survived by his cherished wife Sally Hays Kirk, daughters Kathy (Patrick) Higgins (grandchildren Kate & Liam), Melissa (Dan) Osborne, mother of his children and supportive friend, Ginny (Gary) Sitar, brothers Donald and Ronald Kirk, sister Linda (Martin) Guethler, numerous other family, so many of you he considered friends and his beloved furry children. Oh how lucky to be one of his cats! When thinking of Bob, please perform an act of compassion & kindness to any creature, great or small. Celebration of his life to be held at a later date.
