Robert B. Hance III Bob Hance, 77, died at the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 2, 2009. Bob was born December 17, 1931 to Robert B. Hance Jr. and Virginia Rightmire Hance in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He had younger twin sisters, Ginger and Judy, and they all grew up in Bucks County, PA. He was a graduate of George School and Penn State University. After college, he served 2 years in the Army Intelligence Corps during the Korean War. He had a long and successful career as a sales executive in broadcasting, working in Baltimore, New York and Washington. Bob eventually left television and settled in Florida, never really retiring, embarking on new ventures and playing golf. He has been a resident of Wellington since 1992 and was married for several years to Raquel Rios. He is survived by his sister Judith H. Borden of Marietta GA, by his son Chip, his wife Marietta and their two daughters Dominique and Luisa of Lake Bluff IL; by his daughter Jennifer Hance of Cambridge MA; and by many nieces and nephews. His sister Ginger Hyson passed away in 2001. His first wife Anne W. Hance lives in Sun City West, AZ. A funeral was held on May 6 at Palms West Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at the South Florida National Cemetery at 6501 S. State Road 7 in Lake Worth on Friday July 24 at 1pm.
