Robert Alan Besaw II, 67, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on October 31, 2025. Born, raised, and a lifelong resident of West Palm Beach, Robert built a life rooted in family, community, and the simple joys he treasured most. Robert dedicated 32 years of his career to The Palm Beach Post, where he worked with pride and forged many lasting friendships. After retiring, he embraced the hobbies that brought him true happiness—camping, fishing, traveling, and spending time with the family he dearly loved. Robert had a deep passion for cars, military jets, FSU, and sports, interests he shared enthusiastically with those around him. There isn't anything in the world that he couldn't talk about. Robert was a man of many talents - he could build, fix, or create anything he set his mind to do. He is survived by his devoted wife of 44 years, Tonya Besaw; his son, Robert Alan Besaw III (Danielle); his daughter, Chasity (Jon); and his beloved grandchildren—Taygan, Carter, Dakota, Kelcie, and Robert IV—all of whom were a constant source of pride and love. A visitation with the family will be held on November 21, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Palms West Funeral Home 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411 Robert will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous spirit, and the countless memories he leaves behind. His legacy will continue in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
