Rita L. Mcmullen

Rita L McMullen, age 87 passed peacefully on the morning of May 5, 2017. Rita was born November 28, 1929 in Lincoln RI to Walter McMullen (dec) and Ada McMullen (dec) and was the sister of Walter McMullen (91) residing in Newport RI, Phyllis Policastri (dec), and Arline Salois (90) residing in Royal Palm Beach FL. She was the beloved aunt to Susan McMullen, Eugene Policastri, Rose Carpenter, Donna Salois-Sousa, Arline Laquerre, Mark Salois, Eugene Salois, Thomas Salois, Suzanne James, Mariann Cooke, Michael Salois, Therese Loranger and Normand Salois, Jr. She was also the great aunt and great-great aunt to multiple grand and great-grand nieces and nephews. Rita worked at the Ann & Hope Department store in Cumberland RI until she retired and moved to Royal Palm Beach Florida in 1997. There she resided in the Greenway Village residential community with her sister Arline as her next door neighbor until she convalesced at the Lourdes Noreen McKeen Residence.
