Rita M. Brummert

Rita M. (Tickerhoof) Brummert, age 94, died peacefully at her home Sunday, April 25th, 2010. She is preceded in death by her adoring husband of 51 years, Clayton C. Brummert, two brothers and two sisters. She was born in Lilly, PA and was a devoted teacher in the Pennsylvania school system for 21 years. She was passionate about music and played the organ at St. Anthonys for 10 years. Rita was very active in community activities as well as her husband's funeral home business. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Patricia Capriotti; sister, Eleanor George; grandchildren, Robert, Clayton, Anne, and Nicole; six great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Her funeral mass will be held Saturday, May 22nd at 11:00 AM at St. Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church 11800 Lake Worth Road Wellington, FL 33449. Friends and family are also welcome to join us in celebrating her life following the funeral mass. Services will be held at a later date in her hometown of Lilly, P A.
