Rick Murray

Fredrick "Rick" Murray III, born on April 21, 1947, in Allendale, South Carolina, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on December 18, 2024, in Loxahatchee, Florida. Rick is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Tina, and his two sons, Frederick "Derrick" (Ashton) and Clinton "Dale" (Karly). He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Angela. A man who found joy in life's simple pleasures, Rick cherished the time he spent with Tina and their family. He had a lifelong passion for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, an activity that brought him a profound sense of freedom and tranquility. Rick retired from the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in 2007 after 30 years of service in Road Patrol, the Mounted Unit, a Homicide Detective and the Glades sugar mills. May Rick's memory bring comfort and strength to all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on January 7, 2025, at 11 a.m. followed by services at 1 p.m.
