Richard Anthony Toledo

Toledo, Richard Anthony born 12/08/1970 at Balboa Naval Hospital, San Diego, California Our beloved son Richard left us too soon on February 4, 2022. Richard was one of two miracle sons the Lord Blessed us with. From the day he was born he brought laughter and joy, not only to us but to all he met. His smile lit his whole face and he had a way of drawing people to him. His oldest son Jordan said it best when he said his Dad was always the coolest Dad in the room. Richard in his younger years was an avid skateboarder, he with his brother and several friends built a skateboard ramp in our backyard that took up the whole yard. Everyday he and the gang would get together after school and on the weekends the BQ and boom boxes were going full blast. Metallica was one of their favorite bands. As an adult Richard was to become a wonderful caring Father, his children were the most important part of his life. He most recently worked for Famous Footwear, managing the store on Lantana Rd. and Jog Road. His employees were treated like family and he cared deeply for them. Laughter and fun were his watchwords , seeing the best in everyone is how he lived his life. Richard is survived by his 3 children, Jordan ( fiancée Val) Emma and Rhys, his younger brother and best friend Michael, his parents Tony and Gail, his Godparents Rey and Jane Morales and a host of family both here in the US and the UK. A funeral Mass for Richard will be held at St. Therese de Lisieux Catholic Church 11800 Lake Worth Road, Wellington, FL 33449 at 11:00 AM February 14, 2022. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Trustbridge Hospice of Palm Beach who cared for him at the end.
