Richard William Stier

Richard (Dick) W. Stier passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Tuesday May 2, 2017. He was born on October 10, 1932, to parents Bertha (Bargfrede) Stier and William Stier in New Jersey. He served our country as a serviceman in the US Army from 1957 to 1962. He worked as an Industrial Arts teacher at Mahwah High School in New Jersey until his retirement in 1985, when he moved to Lake Worth, FL . He is survived by his wife Suzanne (Bertucci) Stier, daughter Colleen Cannon, son in law Sean Cannon, and grandchildren Ethan, Allison and Madelyn Cannon. He is also survived by children and grandchildren from a previous marriage. He was a faithful servant of our Lord, Jesus Christ, and an active member of Epiphany Lutheran Church – Lake Worth, up until the time of his death. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to Epiphany Lutheran Church or to Trustbridge Health Hospice. A Celebration of Life will take place at Epiphany Lutheran Church on Saturday May 13, 2017 at 10:30am. A light lunch will be served immediately after the service.
