Richard Alexander Petteruti

Petteruti, Richard Alexander Richard Petteruti was born Sept. 15, 1941 in Providence, R.I. and passed away on Nov. 1, 2014 in West Palm Beach. Predeceased by his brothers Anthony and Ralph, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan, daughter Elaine Picard (Gordon), grandchildren Benjamin and Lisa, brother Thomas (Lois), sister-in-law Linda Petteruti, and nieces and nephews Randi Pontillo (Paul), Tom Petteruti, Ralph Petteruti (Sherry), Cheryl D'Itri, and Sondra Weiner (Sam). Over his lifetime, he lived in many places and wore many different hats, among them cosmetologist and hair color specialist for Clairol, licensed optician, laborer, carpenter, baggage handler for Eastern and, just before his retirement, building director at the Gardens Mall. His unusual sense of humor endeared him to many people and, through tennis, he made lots of dedicated friends. He will be sadly missed. Thanks to all who supported him during his illnesses. Viewing at Palms West Funeral Home will be from 11:00 -1:00 on Sunday, November 16th with a wake service at 12:00.
