Reynaldo Almazan, Sr., 66, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Coral Bay Healthcare and Rehabilitation center. Born in Brownsville, TX to Juan and Paulita Almazan, Reynaldo worked much of his early life as a migrant farmer, traveling from state to state until he and his family settled permanently in South Florida. In 1979, Reynaldo, along with his three brothers (Guadalupe, Jesus, and Beno) began a trucking company titled Almazan Brothers Trucking, Inc. The brothers went on to expand their business, impacting much of the county's growth and development throughout Palm Beach. The Almazan name continues to operate from a variety of mediums both within Palm Beach County as well as across the state of Florida. Reynaldo is survived by his many friends and loving family. A funeral service in memory of Reynaldo will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 beginning at 12:30 p.m., at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory, 110 Business Parkway, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. Interment will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
