Raymond Michael O'Donoghue July 29, 1957 – June 25, 2025 Wellington, FL Raymond Michael O'Donoghue, 67, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in hospice care after a courageous two-and-a-half-year battle with cancer. Born on July 29, 1957, in Manhattan, New York, Ray was the beloved son of Brendan and Margaret O'Donoghue. After graduating high school in 1975, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy, spending three years aboard the USS Saratoga in the Mediterranean. Ray was a man of many talents and passions. He held a black belt in karate and had a deep love for working with his hands. Whether it was mechanical, electrical, or carpentry work, Ray approached every project with skill and dedication. His creativity and craftsmanship were matched only by his warmth and generosity. Above all, Ray was a devoted husband, a proud grandfather, a loving son and brother, and a loyal friend. He is survived by his cherished wife, Julie; his brother, Brendan; his sister, Theresa; his adored grandsons, Ethan and Micah; and his nieces, Kristen, Glynnis, Mallory, and Alexa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Brendan and Margaret. A funeral service to honor Ray's life will be held at St. Ignatius of Loyola Cathedral in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Ray's legacy of love, service, and craftsmanship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
