Raymond D. Eckel

Raymond D. Eckel, Sr., 79, of Wellington, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2009. Born in Hartford, Connecticut, he was the son of Philip Sanborn & Mary Eckel. Raymond is survived by his daughter Ellen Grimason (Alan), sons Stephen Eckel & Ray Eckel (Bridget), six grandchildren, sisters Paula Smith, Florence Grover & Rosanna Stoltz. A visitstion will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church (Wellington, FL.) on Thursday, Oct. 22, 10:00am, following the mass Raymond will be buried at South Florida VA National Cemetery (Lake Worth, FL).
