Ray Rodman Ruby

Born: August 13th, 2021, Ashland, Kentucky Rev. Ray "Rod" Ruby Sr. from Lake Harbor Florida passed away peacefully at TrustBridge Hospice in West Palm Beach on Sunday, May 9th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, E. Ray Ruby, Sara Rodman Ruby, sister Patricia Ruby Park and by his loving wife, Lida Orr Ruby and baby daughter Melissa Beth Ruby. He is survived by his Son Kevin Keyser (Terri) of Clewiston, FL, son Ray Ruby Jr. of Wellington, FL, Daughter Kathy Ruby of West Palm Beach, FL. He has four grandchildren; Brandon Keyser (Nichole), Destayne Whitener (Dale), Shirley Simmons (Charles) and Kristina Keyser. He has 11 great-grand-children! Rod was born in Ashland Kentucky on August 13th, 1937. A Graduate of Emory University, Atlanta, Ga. and Florida Southern University, Lakeland, FL. After college he traveled with the famous corral troupe Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians and sang all over America. He pastored churches in both the Methodist Church conferences in Florida and Kentucky. He pastored his current church, Lake Harbor Community Methodist Church in Lake Harbor, FL for over 30 years. The Celebration of Life service will be Sunday, May 16th, 2021 at 11am at the Lake Harbor Community Methodist Church at 29 W Corkscrew Bld. Lake Harbor, FL 33459.
