Ramon Toledo Monta

March 10, 1930 — August 12, 2008

Mr. Ramon Toledo Monta, 86, of Lake Worth, FL; passed away August 12, 2008 at Wellington Regional Medical Center after a short illness. He was born at Surgao Del Norte, Philippines. As a teenager, he served with the Philippine Army in WW II in guerrilla warfare against the Japanese Army. Later he was an Army cook for the Philippine Army Hospital in San Fernando Pampanga. He arrived in Ft. Smith, AR in 1988 followed by his wife Antonia in 1989 where they resided with his son-in-law William Belzung and daughter Salvacion Belzung. They moved to Florida in 1994 to be with their son; Angelito Monta. Was pre-deceased in death by his six brothers and five sisters; his first wife; Matilde Falloran; two sons- Armondo Monta and Ruben Monta, all of the Philippines. He is survived by his wife, Antonia Monta; two daughters, Salvacion Belzung and Helen Legaspi; two sons, Ramon Monta Jr., and Angelito Monta. Also sons-in-law William Belzung & Amador Legaspi, and daughters-in-law Delia Monta and Elviza Monta. Mr. Ramon Monta was a faithful father and husband and was a true gentle-mand in every sense of the word. He was loved by all who knew him and will by deeply missed.
