Ralph Jackson O'Neal

RALPH JACKSON O'NEAL Heaven welcomed loving husband and father, Ralph Jackson O'Neal, age 74, who passed into the arms of Jesus on July 9, 2009 at Palms West Hospital in Wellington, FL. He was born to Arzetus and Della O'Neal in Ashland, Kentucky on October 16, 1934, and he lived in Palm Beach County for the past 49 years. After serving in the U.S. Army, Ralph worked for Armco Steel Corporation in Ashland, KY. When he moved to West Palm Beach, FL he worked as a design analyst for Pratt & Whitney for 28 years. Afterwards he worked at Pegasus Engineering in Juno Beach, FL. His favorite pastime was fishing, time he enjoyed with friends and family. Ralph is survived by his wife of 51 years; his two children, Randy O'Neal of Orlando, FL and Rebecca DeLong of McDonald, TN; his sister Dorothy Hunt of Palmetto, FL; his three grandsons Rian Bucca, Rory DeLong, Blake O'Neal; his granddaughter Taylor O'Neal; and leaves many beloved relatives. A celebration of his life and visitation will be held at Palms West Funeral Home located at 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL, on US 441/SR7. Visitation hours are 11:30 AM-12:30 PM. The funeral service will follow afterwards, conducted by Reverend Chris Hudson of Haverhill Baptist Church, The interment will be at 2:00 PM at South Florida National Cemetery located on US441/SR7. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donation be made to the 60th Anniversary Fund at Haverhill Baptist Church.
