Ralph H. Mccotter Jr

Ralph H. McCotter, Jr., 70, of Lake Worth, FL, passed away on Thursday, August, 23, 2012. Born in New Bern, NC, he was the son of Ralph H and Neva (Banks) McCotter, Sr. Ralph served our country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He then went on to law enforcement and retired as a lieutenant after 30 years of service with the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. He enjoyed computers, walking the paths at Okeeheelee Park, and his monthly board meeting breakfasts. Ralph's memory will be cherished by his loving wife Nancy R. (Bemis) McCotter; children, Ronald McCotter, Jill Devine, Sean Devine; and grandson, Kevin Devine. Viewing will be held 5-9 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Palms West Funeral Home with a tribute service beginning at 8:30 PM. A second viewing will be held 9-10:30 AM on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. Following viewing, Ralph will be laid to rest with Navy Honors at the South Florida National Cemetery.
